He's about to be 3 in February, and I'm not quite sure what to get him.

Any ideas?

Boxes. They play as much with the boxes as they do with the toys.

Do you not know your own child well enough to know what he likes?

Our nephew was 2 about to be 3(in March) last Christmas. We got him a kindle fire to watch Thomas the Train and his monster truck shows on Netflix on it instead of his parent's phones. He loves it. Then for his 3rd bday we got him a corvette powerwheel to drive in his backyard.

There's a fine line between genius and buffoonery.

Forgot, asked his grandfather to get him a TV/DVD player for his room.

I have a 3.5 year old boy and a 2 year old boy. 3 year old is getting an ipad and transformers. Last year i got him the john deere tractor. 2 year old is getting his own powered car since he never gets to drive the other and all the other ones are too small.

My oldest likes transformers, ninja turtles, jake and the pirates and octonauts. Hope this helps.
