At $60,000 per 750 ml, this ought to quench your thirst and empty your pocket. The water is sourced from either France or Fiji. If you really think about it, this is not really that expensive considering the fact that the bottle is made of solid gold that weighs 24 karats. The bottle was designed by Fernando Altamirano of Tequila Ley fame, the makers of one of the most expensive spirits in the world. He is also credited with the design of the Cognac Dudognon Heritage Henri IV, considered the most expensive cognac bottle in the world. Aside from the solid gold bottle, there were also versions in gold matte, silver, silver matte, crystal and a variety of combinations of all these. The non-solid gold bottles sell for $3,600 dollars. The bottles all come with a leather case. The water also contains 5 milligrams of gold dust.

In 2006, Fiji Water ran an advertisement stating, "The label says Fiji because it's not bottled in Cleveland". This was taken as an insult by the city's water department. The Cleveland Water Department ran tests comparing a bottle of Fiji Water to Cleveland tap water and some other national bottled brands. Fiji Water reportedly contained 6.31 micrograms of arsenic per litre where as the tap water of Cleveland contained none.

Enjoy your poison water.

Yup, we are balling with something that costs $2! My next favorite is Voss, a lot of it is because I like the glass bottle and to me water tastes better when its out of glass. I wish Fiji came in a glass bottle.

Dothan used to sell bottled water. Poplar Springs or something like that with Poplar in the name. It was bottled Dothan Tap Water. And people paid money for it by the case.

I love how their pitch is, "You WANT this water. It's Artesian."

It's brilliant. No one bothers to check the definition of "artesian

It's got electrolytes.

There was a hidden camera show that went to a fancy restaurant and had the waiters push these fancy waters on customers. As they ordered the water it showed a guy out back filling the bottles with a garden hose.

Then you got to see how people claimed to taste various notes that were listed in the water descriptions.

My favorite was the French wine tasters who thought a zinfandel was a lovely cabernet because it had food coloring in it.
