Question for those smarter than myself.
I've never had a sweet tooth, ever. So my aversion to candy isn't because of health, I've just really never been interested. With that said I just came into some bite sized twix that I plan to eat later. Since I am going to eat them, I figure I might as well do it productively. My question is should I eat it before or after a workout? I think I've read that sugars and simple carbs are ok after a workout, but...I work out first thing in the morning so figured the sugar might help beforehand. Any insight?
And yes, I realize there will be those who say "omg it's just candy eat it when you want". I am going to eat it, I'm just asking if there's a "better" time to.

I don't think people are making the distinction between eating food and being in shape/low body fat and eating food and being in shape/healthy.

the mcrib hope these idiots love stuffing that shite down their throat
Eat Mcrib patties with no bun for lunch everyday for a month and tell me where your LDL particle level is at. Then do the same with whole wheat pasta and tell me where your LDL particle level is at, and then sit there in bewilderment as you try to figure out why you lost bodyfat eating Mcribs and gained two belt sizes eating pasta.

Basically. Our culture has instilled this painful idea of excercise and dieting that people just give up.
Sure, I eat a lot steak, and salmon, and eggs, and salads etc but i stay sane knowing that I can enjoy a 600 calorie whooper or a couple pieces of pizza after my workout and look still look great

If you eat something sweet like that super early in the morning (within 45 mins of waking up) your pancreas will get really fricking excited and give you an overload of insulin to compensate for all that sugar you just took in. Then once you level off, you will crash big time. I would eat that after a workout if in the morning.

Sure it is... How many times have I've been called an idiot or told I'd have a heart attack now?

That's what I was looking for, thank you. Would my pancreas still do that knowing that it's just a small bite size?

Well, apparently he's assuming that eating a chicken breast grilled is better for you than eating a McRib. Have you seen what they do to chickens to make those breasts so plump?

That would prlly be alot more manageable than eating a King Size.

bad diet habits and lack of exercises are a major reasons why Americans are so fat
Can't blame fast food for that.
Over consumption is why Americans are fat.

CSB time: one of my best friends wife is the federal veterinary inspector for a couple of Tyson plants
I asked her if she eats Tyson chicken and she said yes...which kinda works for me
although I buy most of my meat from a local farmer, but that is because I like supporting local people, moreso than I'm afraid of "hormones" or whatever
