Did Europe for two weeks solo. It was great doing whatever I wanted on my own schedule and had a ton of fun going out in the cities at night.
Alternatively, I was in Denver this weekend with a couple friends and it was pretty terrible trying to coordinate what people wanted to do.

I think going on group trips are shitty because of this. Someone always complains about the place to go or the resturant someone picked etc.

i travel for a living so i have mini self-vacations all the time.
usually i use it to drink, see movies my wife won't go see, read, go see something cool that i'd otherwise probably never get to do.

I go on a couple trips a year. When the Lithettes study abroad I see them then wander Europe solo for about a week. Great time.

I've wanted to do this myself.
Some things I've thought of:
Cruise-problem is they charge you for 2 people
Newfoundland-Just go and see
Motorcycle Trip-rent one and go camping in the Smokies, Ozarks etc.

Naw bra, frick. My cousin does it all the time, but he always hooks up with chicks or if he can't he'll bang a prostitute. I do things alone all the time, but vacation is a road I won't be taking for a while. Maybe when I'm in my 50s

I've gone the last 3 years to Tahoe skiing by myself. Last season went for 9 days. Night life is good and the snow is awesome.
Also made another trip with others 2 of the past 3 years.

Went there solo in my mid 20s and absolutely loved it, there is so much shite to do there outside of ski season it's not even funny.

Hell yea. Last year I spent 2 weeks in big sky, mt skiing by myself. Currently in Whistler BC by myself for 10 days doing some mountain biking and fly fishing. I love it.
