Not just the end of the month, it's also the end of the fiscal year! Bad time to drive around with expired anything or a broken tail light.

So if it had been June 3, we would have been spared from this thread?

I'm guessing you'd still be pissed that you got caught and mad at someone else

They can't collect unless the "taxpayer" violates the law.

I am seeing lots of people with headlights and taillights out. I am ok with enforcing inspection stickers

Can you believe I'm supposed to maintain order among a bunch of stupid, whiny bitches like this one, a dude who can't even follow simple laws?

Do that on your court date with proof of updated tag and your citation will get tossed

I purchased a work car from an Arkansas dealership several months ago.

Arkansas is not one of the handful of money grubbing states that require inspection stickers so it didn’t come with one.

I’ve never gotten one.

I don’t plan on getting one.

I’d rather get a $175 ticket than take $10 to the guy that doesn’t even check my car but just puts on a new sticker so Louisiana can get their beak wet.

Now that’s fricked up

I’ve gotten inspection stickers in La for over 30 years. I’ve never had my vehicle actually inspected. They just look at the registration and proof of insurance and put on a new sticker.

It is just a crooked way to make money.

My last 2 tickets were for 4 over in Washington, LA on I49 in 2011 and no blinker at 1 am on a weeknight on I10 in Loxely, AL. Both of those cops were jerks at the end of the month. For the no blinker ticket, the cop was on the interstate in front of where I exited and had to drive the wrong way down the interstate to pull me over. He did about 100 mph down the exit ramp. Good thing there was zero traffic on the interstate then.

It'll be OK once the Progressive Socialists take over in 2020. Government will be your best friend.

There are tickets that people receive that I can understand bitching about. Doing less than 5 MPH over the speed limit, not using a blinker even though no one is behind or in front of you, not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign even though nothing is coming from either direction, etc. But this, this is too easy to avoid and in my opinion you have no right to gripe.

, imagine being a guy who defends inspection stickers. Jesus.
