those frickers! my go to method is to let off the gas and let them in. Then , just to be a dick, I let off the gas just enough to maintain my 4+ car length distance behind them.
Sometimes, to be a real a-hole, i'll hit the decelerate button on my cruise control when i let them in.
and if i'm in a really shitty mood i'll check my lights to make sure i don't have the high beams on.

This I randomly honk at people I see hitting their brakes with no cars in front of them. That shite drives me insane.

No one can maintain speed on I10. Why? Because semi-truck drivers who have their cruise controls set at 71mph (so they don't set off their company installed vehicle black boxes) take all of 15 minutes to pass the semi-truck that's going 70mph in the right lane...

sometimes this is a necessity because a driver will sit behind an a-hole locking up the left lane without signaling them(flashing lights, blowing horn, etc) to move over. just because you are scared to let them know to move over doesnt mean that I am.

Just this evening on I-10 E between Seigen and Highland, it was bumper to bumper stop and go from 0-20 MPH. This guy comes rolling in the left shoulder at at least 50 MPH. About 200 feet in front of me, he apparently passes a state stopper. He gets pulled over. I enjoyed the double honk I gave him as I passed him getting a ticket for lord knows how much money.

My way of "making a hole" usually involves encroaching into their lane, waiting for them to hit the brakes and make a gap and then I accelerate into the spot. It works really well. Especially if you act like you do not see the car.
