Wanted to be a horse trainer. Realized pretty early on there was no $ to be made. Now I get yelled at by crazy people all day and still make very little money.

I always wanted to be in the military growing up. Took the ASVAB and scored almost perfect, planned to do reserves while in college. My dad talked me into not doing it by telling me i wouldn't want to be doing drill on weekends while all my friends were at LSU games. Finished up LSU with an engineering degree and went to work. Money was good but at a few points I had an urge to just quit and join the marines. Now I'm probably past the age limit and will always regret not serving. Sitting behind a computer doing engineering work isn't how I pictured my life as a kid, but the money is good and I can go home and drink every night if I want.

I sorta ended up doing some aspect of what I wanted to do as a kid. I do some really secretive stuff in the securities contracting arena. I also own several small businesses.
However, I always kind of wanted to be a contractor and build houses.

I wanted to be an investment banker, politician, or career military officer. You can take a guess as to how those aspirations materialized.

I wanted to be an NBA point guard, however working for Enterprise Rent A Car has it's benefits. They have an excellent corporate structure and give me the tools I need to be my own boss.
