Dream profession growing up versus what you do now. Any regrets?

I remember wanting to be an archaeologist as a kid after seeing the Indiana Jones movies for the first time. I sometimes wonder what if.

Navy pilot. Currently work in the back office of a mortgage company 
But I'm taking the test for OCS in a few weeks so hopefully I can follow through on it.

I wanted to go into space or be a sports writer. Just didn't go to college. Too busy getting high. Had a great job working offshore after high school. Damn I wish I would have saved some of that money. But what I do now is the best job I have ever had.

History teacher and coach. I'm good with my decision to not go that route because I can afford to give my kids a lot more. Besides oil prices being in the dirt, my job is usually pretty awesome

Wanted to be a cropduster pilot,still do..have a couple of different businesses now and some OTR trucks,but every time I see a plane doing that stuff,I watch as long as I can. It aint over yet, I still may get to do it one day.
Have you ever at least hunted artifacts(arrowheads and stuff) locally? That's pretty fun and interesting,some points can be pretty valuable too.
