So beating children would cause employers to pay a living wage?
NO it will not. However, the free market has next-to-no emotions and prices and wages tend to move like they are supposed to. If companies raise everyone wages and incur all that extra labor expense, do you really think it will not be passed along in higher prices? If it worked the way you think, why not pay everyone $400.00 an hour for every single job?

Bunch of millennials in this thread blaming their parents
its odd
for years when kids turn to shite, people have always looked to how they were raised, their parents, and their environment
but now we shouldn't?

The only people to blame in this situation are the parents.
Also, I wonder what he is defining as a "millennial". I'm a millennial, born in 87, and I don't know anyone who falls into any of those categories.

People on this board be like
"Gawd Damn Millennials! Good for nothin generation!" then proceed to go beat off to Millennials on the ole PC, listen to millennials on the radio at the ole tailgate, and constantly talk about them in general to the point of obsession.

These young people as a whole have no idea about commitment or hard work. When I was a First Sergeant before retiring a few years ago, I was amazed at the outlook of the younger generation.
Yes, parents do have some culpability but at some point, you have to look yourself in the mirror and sack up.

I said "as a whole"...not every single one. Yes, it is a generalization that does fit for most but not all.

Sorry we wrecked the economy 10 years ago when we were ages 10-19.

If you create an economy where everyone are required to have a college education to get a job, then the downside is everyone will expect promotions, etc. I would rather have work force that expects progress, both personal and career, than one that expects to be taken care of with a high school diploma, Medicare, Medicaid, and a failing SS system.

The 40 to 50 year old parents are the sole blame
They are horrendous parents, and are the biggest reason for the stupidity of children. Kids believe so much of what's on the internet, because their parents can't even teach them the simplest things like common sense.
I see it with all the people i went to HS with, who are now Parents.
It will only get worse.

I would say themselves at 18-29. I guess most are still living in their parents basment stealing wifi.

You're right. They obviously knew more about warfare than I did because they played Call of Duty.
