Agree with most of your post. But, New Orleans is MUCH safer than it was 25 years ago. There isn't a murder a day. Back then the city averaged 1.5 murders a day.

I have accepted that some segments of society would prefer to rob and kill rather than work for a living but who robs and kills for $20? This is an exceptional level of stupid. If for nothing else than for the risk versus reward.

Do you really think these TPOS care if you're carrying a 20$ bill a 5 or a 100$?
They'd shoot you bc you looked at them the wrong way.
It's ashamed military didn't have more success during Katrina aftermath.

There's a few precedents set as far as cutting off an area for pizza delivery. When the first nice subdivision popped up south of Gardere on Nicholson, we'd deliver there but not to the north side of gardere between Nicholson and Burbank. We'd go to Old Hermitage but not directly across the street. People would call bitching but didn't do shite except come pick their pizza up from store.

frick no they don't. You know what they want these days? Your phone/gps. Most orders are credit cards these days anyhow so a lazy driver(don't drop his cash after each run) doesn't even have much cash on him/her.

Has anyone mentioned yet that this pizza man didbt have any deliveries in the area he was shot ? Can only speculate what he was doing.

CSB one of my last deliveries on most recent pizza stint was Deep in NE St Amant.
Was the trailer BEHIND this shitty trailer/customer who orders regularly. broken windows, wooden floors, etc.
So I was like 'awwww frick this is sketch.' So I call to verify and this lady goes "yea baby. i'm behind that trailer in smaller trailer. just come on back and come inside."
I'm thinkin this is fricked up shite to get murdered on my last frickin week working pizza. Like a movie.
Anyhoots as I walk in and scan surroundings, there are holes everywhere in the floor(I don't think she could get to kitchen area). It's an obese woman on the couch in front the tv. She was one of them 'too fat to get up' kinda people. My fear for my life switched to my health as I gagged on the piss smell in this squalor and situation in general.
:csb: didn't get robbed but was one of the more entertaining/enlightening/depressing deliveries. She tipped me $3 too!
