Does my phone have a virus or are there ads between threads now?

On my computer, there is a banner add 2/3 of the way down. I kept scrolling to it and stopping until I realized there were more threads beneath it.

Mine went through a spell last week where I would randomly be redirected to another website that was basically a pop up ad

Try a different search engine. Or a hard reset, or both.

Bring it to the help board and tell them the device you are using, the board, and the ad. Screenshot if you can. They can help get rid of it. I have been getting these lately too.

On my desktop, my virus scan, Microsoft Security Essentials, has been popping up every time I click on a thread, asking me to clean my computer. I click clean it takes a few minutes but it seems to work, however the same issue will happen an hour later.

Same thing happened too me but on mobile. Not currently happening now though

Its not a problem with the device. Its the website
