Took my wife to a nice restaurant a few years ago, candlelit place, nice romantic dinner the bill came and it was like $85 something like that. I paid cash, took two fifties out of my money clip put it in the bill holder the girl comes by , picks it up and asks in a somewhat surprised voice "do you need change?" "No keep the change" I said thinking $15 , later that night I realized I gave her two hundreds, not two fifties.

Wow! you seem like a shallow frick! I usually tip based on service but in your world if the hot one spits in your food then i guess she gets a bigger tip.

Seriously, there was a certain place we would go eat for lunch.. At least once a week, sometimes more.
All the waitresses were usually college aged, but one day this woman who was probably at least 15 years older than the rest of the staff, waited on us. She wasn't dog ugly, she looked okay but talked like a heavy smoker so... I am sure she wasn't a preferred waitress. Anyway, of been one of those days where I was tipping in cash and because I didn't have change, I left a relatively bigger tip than expected..
Well after that day, when we would go there she would always come flirt with me and try to work out to where we would sit at her table and the girl sitting us would always blackball her..

I don't care if they are ugly as sin or big as a house. If the attitude is good, food & drinks come on time, and I don't have to wait to flag her down for something else, she's earning her pay of 20% or more. Even if the service is shitty, I still tip, just 10%.

Typically the hotter ones expect more. I treat all of my waitresses alike. Tip starts out at 18% and it can go up or down. Keep my glass refilled and its minimum 20%.

I tip using cash only so they dont have to pay extra tax.

I tip them all if service is good. Their looks and their quality of work aren't interrelated.

I just switch sections at Hooters if I get a waitress that I don’t like. Then I tip well.
If they follow me, I close out and go to another Hooters.

I tip .25 across the board
