Usually a couple bucks. The Sonic servers usually seem to be decent kids, and I like to reward kids who actually have jobs and provide decent customer service these days.

Am I cheap for not tipping mcdonalds workers?
This whole attitude of "the consumer is a jackass for not tipping" is fricking hilarious. It's not my job to pay your salary.
And yes I do tip in circumstances in which it is deserving, which is most restraunt situations and I tip quite well.
But I don't tip for some girl rolling over with a burger in her hand

depends....if I am at the drive through, no....if I am parked in a space and they bring it out to me, then I usually give them a buck and any change...

I've noticed the hops at Sonic here have started just walking off with the change. They'll give you the dollars back and then just leave. The first couple of times I let it slide but now it pisses me off and I make them come back out of principle.
