No TV at all, no. But I've known several people who don't have cable. They use Hulu and Netflix for whatever they want to watch, and for football games they go to other people's houses or to a bar.

I haven't had cable for two years. I do, however, have internet and my girlfriend's Netflix password.

Serious question, how do you watch LSU games (assuming you want to catch all of the fb games)? I would guess ESPN 3 but you need a corresponding cable provider? Do you get to watch them live?

Never had cable or satellite. Good rabbit ears gets 15- 20 channels in Baton Rouge.
Away LSU games not on broadcast TV usually mean going to a restaurant or friends. Not a big deal.

Me and its awesome. I use a friend's name and password to watch LSU online but that's about it. TV is such a waste of time and money.

I haven't had cable for 4 years. Don't miss it one bit.
As I grew older, the more I realized that TV (especially reality TV) is nothing but a distraction from our mostly mundane lives (unless you're an OT baller).

I have a tv. But I don't pay for cable, so I don't ever watch anything. If there's something I want to watch, like a move or a tv show, I go online. I kinda miss my morning sportscenter while eating breakfast. But it's not bad.

We have it basically because of sports. I don't think I would miss TV if we cut the cord. Got a good deal with Direct TV but the price just increased. We are moving in a few months so we may just use an antenna and see how we like it.

I haven't had cable since I moved to the beach. I get by with an antenna and internet for ESPN and other sporting events

I'm about to cancel my cable tomorrow. It's cheaper for me to go watch games at a bar or restaurant each week than to keep cable. I'm only keeping my internet and will pay $58/month for internet and Netflix.

ESPN3 and the Watch ESPN app are available based upon internet provider, not cable provider. I Cut the cord and have access to it with my own internet account.
Don't miss cable at all and haven't missed one sporting event that I've wanted to watch

I work with a few who don't have any cable service. A few have kids and do it for religious reasons to censor them by choosing their DVDs. The other are single and either have a ton of bills or act like they just don't watch tv. Sounds weird to me.

I don't have cable or dish. Found it to be a waste of money.

As a contrarian within this thread, we have cable and lots of it. Are we watching 5% of the channels we pay for? Yes.
Not sure I could watch my trashy COPS reruns any other way.
Also like the DIY shows and the kiddos enjoy the array of Disney channels. Where we live, it is a single small cable/internet provider so most of the apps within AppleTV really don't work, with the exception of YouTube and a couple others.

I have dish, no premium channels other than sports (for LSU games).
Haven't watched a single show on it in the last month or so other than weather snippets. Instead, I pay for internet and watch tv there. Brilliant.

Ive been without cable/dish for about a year now and I honestly get annoyed as frick lately because where I live I only get about 7 channels (of which only two i'll watch for the local news) on a Mohu Leaf Plus antenna.
If a ball game isnt on Fox im SOL and have to carry my arse to the bar or to some friends place.
Im about to just drop the money on Directv and get all my HBO shows that I love and all the sports I want in HD.
Screw that "cut the cord" b.s. I cut my entertainment off nearly totally when I did.

Myself. One of my buddies as well.
I can watch any game I want to for free online. Don't really care about TV shows or anything. I had cable as recently as October and I don't miss it. I moved and just didn't care enough to get it all set back up.

I quit paying for it about 3 years ago. I stream everything now, use my sisters cox login for watchespn, and use firstrowsports for everything else. Rabbit ears are free for local channels.
Why the frick pay for something that I can get for free? It's a MASSIVE ripoff.
As for the shows on A&E, HBO, etc...they are usually up on projectfreetv or piratebay within 45 minutes of the show airing.
