I don't hate my in-laws, but they are fairly aggravating. And I much more prefer my MIL over my FIL.

I love my in laws. My FIL is one of the best men I know. Hard working and great to my kids. MIL will do anything in the world for us. Neither of them have ever tried to get into our business in any way.

First wife's mother was a total bitch. Current wife's mom passed away at young age so never got to know her but from what I've heard she was pretty awesome. She sure raised a terrific daughter.

FIL and step MIL are legit. Only issue is Step-MIL's kids are typical basement dwellers.
MIL - is a whackjob. But she's scared of me so my wife gets to reap those whacko tendencies.

I love my In-Laws and they love me. The MIL does have a couple aggravating habits but I do too. Overall, it's been 27 years and no crummy issues.
