I'm just glad it wasn't a Bama fan that set up those pins for you.

I adapt. I work in a very professional office setting where I am far from well-established, so I reign myself in. I am basically the same around classes, friends, and family, though.

You mean the guys who meet a new employee and say "we like to have fun around here". Yeah those guys need to fall on a cactus fire.

YES... Those jackasses. "Hey man. Good to have you on board. You are going to love it here, we like to have fun while we work"

Couldn't agree more. If I ever start at a new place and here the phrase "cut up" I'll either quit or off myself.

I unknowingly posted a third rail graphic.

I won't do that again. Sorry I did it, upon reflection.

My family and friends I am the same.

My work my language opens up a little bit. But I have zero issues censoring myself at home.

That sounds like a good way to get fired and banished from my family. If someone from work saw me on the weekend they wouldn't recognize me, for my family I scale back.. There are times to be professional and times to cut loose, mix these and you might find yourself having a lot of fun because of all the free time you'll have after being fired. That being said I doubt anyone at work would cares what I do with my free time, and I treat them the same

Pretty much the same all around. Of course, not everyone at work is all that interested in hearing about what I did on the weekend and vice-versa, but I don't feel like I have to censor anything.

With each job I learned something new. It's that "me" is not conducive to workplace success. I had to change. So I did.

I became the outgoing, engaging politician that invites people to happy hours, engages them about their families and encourages and supports my employees. I have lunch with the CEO once a week. I'm recognized as some kind of up and coming leader in the organization- they gave me this ridiculous plaque that says so.

Normally, I'm just an a-hole. Work gets the better me, for sure.

I don't share any personal information about myself to go-workers. Nor do I act more than cordial to them. They are acquaintances, that's it.

That being said, I only go into an office about once every two weeks haha
