Are you the same person no matter what environment you are in or do you only show certain sides of yourself depending who you are around?

I adapt to my environment. Its not that I am not myself, its just a scaled back version of myself, depending on where I am & who I am with. When I talk to my friends, the language probably gets a little out of hand, work it just depends and around family I am more scaled back.

I'm basically the same as you. I have to censor myself pretty heavily at work, moderately around family and am my true self around friends.

I say nothing and always keep my back to the wall and an eye on the nearest exit.

I don't think there is much of a difference in me when I am at work versus at home....there may be some subtle shift, but I can't really pick it out.

No. I'll get drunk around friends but certainly not around coworkers.

If you act the same at work as away from work then you're probably a very dull person away from work.

More or less. I'm never high at work, so my Irish temper can flair up. My friends think I'm the most laid back person they know. But they are very wrong. Only my oldest friends, that knew me at times when I couldn't smoke, know how that I'm naturally very high strung.

Well, I'm certainly not going to get wasted with my boss. I also try to always watch my mouth in front of my parents.

There's a work poop, a friends poop, and a family poop.

Yes and no.

I'm the same person but depending on my surroundings, I'll either tone it down or just ignore dumb shite/stuff that could get me in trouble.

Hey good to see you're not banned, I thought that thread the other day was your last.

Also, quit taking family members to "pound town"

I've never spanked anyone at work with an extension cord if that's what you're asking.

What about the dudes who are married to a wife who doesn't allow them to act a certain way so work is their place they can "act up", so they overcompensate?

I'm a Louisiana liberal/Colorado moderate. Working in Louisiana, especially in my industry, I'd often have to stay quit when I'd hear insanely racist things. I have heard them do rarely here, I have no problem calling people out on their bullshite.

You mean the guys who meet a new employee and say "we like to have fun around here". Yeah those guys need to fall on a cactus fire.
