So we took a drive out to Money Hill and it took us 15 minutes to get from the Shell by the interstate to the front entrance of the neighborhood at 515pm. Not too bad. It is far out there though. Abita was literally 7-8 minutes away. The property itself is stunning, the golf course and lakes look amazing, and the lot we looked at was right up our alley. The land slopes so we will be spending some dough filling it to get it flat but it is certainly nice out there. We just have to decide if we want to be that far out. Going to play a round off golf out there and see the place a few more times before any decisions are made. BTW anyone want to buy some property in TCC?

grocery store in abita ain't worth much of a frick besides needing to make a 2 item run here and there.

I agree. I went in that little store once after bringing the kid to the park in Abita. Overripe produce, very hot inside, grimy coolers did not seem cold enough, and the cookies we bought were stale. It'll be worth it for you to drive further to Rouses/Winn-Dixie.
