Do smokers not realize how bad they smell?

No they have no clue. I notice however.

I think they don't give a shite how they smell because they're obviously trashy as frick and probably don't have much of an education. Their children will be the same way, too.

Former smoker here, I can honestly say I had no idea. The idea of walking into places like that is kind of embarrassing in retrospect.

I am just so tired of going into a room to find a patient and their nasty family oozing disgusting cigarette smell on everything in there.

It takes the entire rest of the day to get that putrid smell out.

Living on this side of it for 5 years now, I can tell you it's mostly this. As a smoker, you can smell yourself...but you have no clue how bad it really is. I mean, not even close.

90% of smokers are trashy anyways. They don't care about appearance or hygiene.

My ole man was a dipper for years (decades). He'd finish a dip and it wasn't long before he was brushing his teeth. I can't recall him ever dipping in the house. It was always outside on the tractor/lawnmower/in the shop. In fact the only time I ever recall him dipping inside was at church bingo when he was in the KofC and helping out...and that place was a smoke factory....
