Shouldn't go to jail over that. Society should look extremely poorly on him though.

This.

The guy is a pathetic lowlife, but this is NOT something you should go to jail for.

A better punishment would be to make him work for free for a few years at a VA hospital, and have to tell veterans why he is there.

They played to much call of duty and wish they actually served.

I care

There can be a reasonable debate over legal penalties, though

Question about Socnet. How do those guys determine whether or not I was actually in the military? I know I had to send them my rank, bat, name, etc and then wait to be activated. But I don't know the process.

Jail? That's a little excessive for just wearing clothes and lying about your history.

SUPPOSEDLY, the same way they verify service for the questionable...Someone there obviously has a connection with VA or some records database..I don't know that this is any more than RallyPoint or any of those other sites does, its just a little more personal with SOCNET...

It took them about 2 weeks to activate me so I didn't know if they were lazy or I was actually in queue somewhere to be "looked at".

It was Frog I told off. I think he's the head SEAL honcho so I know if I ever actually signed back in that I'm banned like a mofo.

Yes that should be his punishment. I am not trying to be a tough guy. But I have tremendous respect for the men and women who serve our country. They are the point of the spear. While I don't always agree with the decisions that are made by the President (or the last President), the soldiers are trying to protect us, and they don't deserve to have some impostor running around receiving the gratitude of a grateful nation. That is why he is doing it. Its a shortcut. He is not willing to put in the work and effort, he just want the glory.

Unfortunately our country has gotten soft and too liberal leaning in my opinion.

He is a worthless prick.

Or maybe we could just give him a fake Hells Angel tattoo.

Do you know how the Hells Angels remove fake tattoos?

I frown on it, but I don't get all faux zealot patriotic like some folks who act like this is the scummiest thing a person can do.

This. Exactly. Plus its offensive as hell to those who actually did serve.

Even then, if you were going to dress up to play Marine/Soldier/Sailor/whatever...dont you think it would be WISE to get the uniform right and do some homework on where and how the military works?

Who is DC, and did this all blow up, or did he just "never come home"
