Human relations and interactions existed before 'GDI' or 'Frat' were terms. If you see someone you like just go for it, the worst they can say is no.

I was a GDI, and I started dating a sorority girl freshman year.

Freaking this. Don't know how people make friends in class. People only talk to the people they already know. and the girls sit away from people like me. frick 300 people classes, I hate that shite.

I've made friends in many classes that I didn't know prior. You just have to be friendly. You start by asking them about school stuff with the class. Then ask them if they'd like to study with you before an exam. Then you start hanging out with them outside of class like maybe getting coffee beforehand. Then, you start going bar-hopping or to house parties with them. Before you know it, you've made a friend, gf, or f&%k buddy just by being friendly and open. Do this in all of your classes and you end up with a large group of close friends to shoot the shite with and plenty of phone numbers of potentially date-able chicks.

Wish I could do that. A lot of them just seem plain bitchy though. I borrowed a pencil from this girl in my astronomy class. She had a hipsterish vibe.

The older they get the more willing to date outside the Greek system...when I was in college I dated one for six months. She was in her fourth year and totally done with frat guys. Most of her friends felt the same... Good times

This. By this time, they realize they want a real man and not some fru fru punk.

Hi. I'm LSUsuperfresh. I realize this is a douchey name, but being 18 when I chose this I feel like we should be able to overlook this. What kind of hobbies or on campus events are you in to?

Never talk to women while they are in packs. I thought this was common knowledge.

You from New Orleans? My roommate at LSU did this. Exactly.

I'm a GDI and I go to sorority functions almost every other week, usually with different chicks.

Are you expecting this board to hold your hand all 4 years of college?

I was supposed to be in a fraternity, but got arrested and my parents wouldn't fork over the money after that. I hung out with GDIs and frat stars both. Myself, as well as a few other GDI friends, slayed much more poon than any frat star that I knew

You just can't be a fig with no game. Hooking up with chicks is easier than getting a 2.0 gpa IMHO

In my experience, girls don't give a shite if you're frat or not (except for the occasional 18 year old who thinks it's the coolest thing ever).

While that is a good route, sorority events are not even close to as awesome as fraternity events for the most part. Too many rules at sorority shite.
