There's always an exception. I know a girl in the Muslim club and she's ok looking, but if there's any hotties, I haven't met them.
Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) is very welcoming and has some unbelievable talent. They do pot lucks at least once or twice a month and will invite anyone who is interested.

It's a lot easier if you're older (past graduation age) and they're still in college. It isn't worth listening to their constant babble about what's going on with all their girlfriends and what Zach Mettenberger told them at Bogie's, etc. though.
Never again.
ETA: Being the local knugg salesman also helps. I was in the palm-scanner system at a certain sorority my freshman year so I could make deliveries (longggggggggggg time ago).

I went to TCU which is frat/sorority central.
The freshman sorority girls were really snobbish when it came to frat vs. GDI. They wouldn't even talk to a GDI let alone date them.
But as they got older and became upper classmen they could have cared less if you were in a frat or not.
I wasn't in a frat but I did play football so I guess that helped me somewhat but most sorority girls went for frat guys instead of athletes.

Just stay away from the freshman sorority girls
When they are freshman they know no one besides other girls in their sororities and guys from other frats they meet in events/mixers. That is why they are snobbish and exclusive toward people who aren't greek, because they don't know them and are coming fresh out of high school where they probably were in some kind of clique(or wished they were in one) and therefore are not inclusive.
But as they go through college and meet more people and meet people who aren't in frats that are perfectly fine, and they see the dark side of their sorority with the drama and the dark side of frats with the jerks/players/douche bags, they become more open and receptive to non-greeks.

It's not that hard to just chat with people before class. Talk about the class or anything you may find you have in common. It's probably a good idea to do this with people other than just the sorority girls you speak of. It can help you to be more outgoing.
