Did your wife take your last name when you got married?

Wondering if this is a new thing these days? Two girls that I work with just got married. One of them isn't changing her name at all, and the other just added her husband's last name after her maiden name.
I thought it was pretty common practice for the woman to take the husband's last name. Something tells me the OT will consider the husband allowing this to happen to be beta af.
To be honest, I'd probably have an issue with it too. If/when I get married, I'd certainly expect my wife to take my last name.

Mine will
But it's not because she likes my name (and arguably it's not because she likes me) - It's because she wouldn't dare have anyone think she's some feminist lib

Married 11 years ago..straight told her, if you don't take my name...not getting married. This was while we were dating so if she had a hissy fit I could just cut bait .

My cousin's daughter just got married and the husband took her name. no one knew anything until they announced "Mr. & Mrs. etc..." everyone just sat there kind of stunned. What a cuck, and the kid was a lawyer.

Every wife I've had took my last name. It was never even discussed.

Legally, yes. Professionally, no.

No need to put your name permanently on a rented item.

No, I just feel lucky I talked her out of making me take hers. That woman scares the crap out of me.

Actually marrying and giving your last name is pretty beta all around as well... it's a complete losing proposition for a male these days.

Yes. Never a question otherwise.

I don't blame her, Krystal Blaze is a hell of a stage name

I'm getting married on Saturday. And yes, she will, because I'm not a pussy. And because I didn't vote for Hillary.
