Antartica would be awesome.

Research it, it will cost a lot less than you think. I went in 2004, you will probably leave out of Ushuaia Argentina and make a stop in someplace like Chile on the way down, so you get to see some other countries as a bonus.

Lived in Mombasa Kenya for a while. Had a little one room one bath bungalow a few yards from the beach on the Indian ocean. Weather was always wonderful and beer always flowing, Tusker Premium was my favorite.

I have never been, but I can tell you don't know much about Africa. It has what? Like 52, 52 countries,

Think what you want. I am quite familiar with the topographic, climatic, biological, ecological, historical, and racial diversity of the continent.

My presumed ignorance of Africa is not the source of my lack of interest. There are a multitude of reasons why I would be apathetic about visiting there.

it isn't all filled with sick looking kids with flies flying around them.

Did I cite this as a reason for my preference for other destinations? That's quite the conclusion for you to make.

Took a vacay to Kenya and Tanzania while I was working in Saudi.

Incredible time...shame it will probably never be as safe to visit as it was back then.

I've been through much of Burkina Faso, SW Nigeria, and Benin. Then I've been to Niamey Niger, Bamako Mali, and Accra Ghana but was largely stuck in hotels in those spots.

Never been, but I've always wanted to go to Tanzania. Huge American expatriate population too.
