Most beautiful place I've ever visited, and definitely home to the most gracious, generous people I've ever encountered. Weather stays 75-80 degrees year round in most of Uganda due to its higher elevation and location on the equator.
ETA: And I rafted the Nile River in Uganda before I came home. It was a badass experience.

while on safari in Kenya a couple of years ago a tribal chief offered 20 cows for my daughter, good thing I wasn't there, I'd be a rancher right now

Spent a couple of weeks in some of the parks in Tanzania. Absolutely beautiful.

I have never been, but I can tell you don't know much about Africa. It has what? Like 52, 52 countries, it isn't all filled with sick looking kids with flies flying around them.
