Kid has been screaming off and on for 4 hours now. People swear by this but usually say an hour or two is the most the first night. Concerned he might go all night... he's only 4.5 months old

When did this become the infant parenting board?

Fill his next bottle with bourbon and then slip him a benadryl.

Works for me. Our kid wouldn't sleep. So we started giving him a few benadryl pills and a bottle of bourbon at night. He didn't like it the first night, but after the second night I can tell you that the kid sleeps all night. He's been sleeping for almost a month now. Hasn't woken up once.

You aren't supposed to do cry it out until 6 months. They lack the cognitive skills to self soothe until that point.

Go feed and cuddle the kid.

We did this with my youngest. The first couple nights were a little tough, but it got easier.

Had friends who did this, too, with mixed results.

Since all the people in their early 30's thought it was a good idea to have kids.

My kid did the same thing, took him to ER and found pretty bad ear infection.

What has your pediatrician had to allow? My first instinct is to rule out anything physiological, which may have already been done. We used car rides, late night, for the eldest on occasions. We never experienced a four hour time, God bless you

Don't kid yourself. Those lungs can hold up for hours.

I pulled a cot up in the room so my oldest could see me. As soon as he knew someone was around he settled down and went to sleep.

Give the kid a bottle, probably hungry. Maybe isn't getting any milk if breastfeeding

At less than 500 post after 3 years. You have proven yourself a shitty poster with just this thread. Answer the question. Does your wife let little babe feast on her boobies? This could make or break your problem.

That's the problem brah.
