As someone who has grown up around doctors, I can tell you that most are the greatest actors ever. The "bedside manner" people love is just an act.
What you see in the office is not who they really are. Most great doctors have the ability to turn on and off their emotions.
They are sociopaths usually. Not "dexter" type, but they have the ability to not get emotionally involved in things.
Could easily see a kitten like patients describe him turn into a tiger behind closed doors.

No kidding. As I've said here many times, I'm new to the area and find the people to be different. But trashy is not a word I'd use to describe the majority of people here. The area is pretty. The schools are good. Lots of families. Pretty much as far from trashy as a middle class LA area can possibly be. If mahdragonz thinks the NS is trashy, he must not travel around this state too much.
