Do you change your mind if charges are filed or wait to see what a jury says?

To me, whether or not charges are filed tells the story. If no charges are brought, I think a safe assumption would be that I was wrong and there was abuse (at least with this incident) on his part rather than issues between them.

I'll wait and see if charges are filed, if charges are filed then I guess it's up to a jury... what I think doesnt matter either way.

Not so sure I'm going to believe that she was a saint considering that she just shot her husband dead!

Look. The first wife and second knew exactly what kind of man this was. He was someone who (allegedly) happily prescribe birth control to a woman under questionable and then look her husband in the face and say he didn't know why they couldn't get pregnant.

A few well placed women and are no doubt wondering what the discovery phase of the trial will be since they asked for medication to bring their period on (north shore trash think they are above clinics)

He was no Boy Scout. (So people say)

Ok, this is the third time in this thread you've made a point to say "north shore trash." I'm not even a fan of the north shore and even I'm sick of seeing it. What mountain do you live on top of where you feel the need to look down on the north shore?

Ok, no assumption....I KNOW HER AND HER FAMILY!

If I understand correctly, She had an affair with, got pregnant by and then married the [alleged] a-hole. That's a lot of stuff for such an a-hole.

But I don't know, other than have a close family member who was a patient and thought he was a good guy, or at least a good physician.

So, he followed the law by not divulging PHI when his patient didn't want him to?

The "whether" is important here. Assuming the statement isn't just oversight, that statement indicates to me that they may believe the killing was justified.

Don't start using hyperbole now....nobody said that. What people have said is that he treated the patients they knew with great care and attention.

These people and those around them are just as trashy as the worst parts of New Orleans. Just seems like some people think the trash there is special.

I think it means they have considered (and are considering) all options. It is their job to take her statement, get her story then investigate. There was no initial PC so they had no charges to file. If the investigation shows PC that they can justify an arrest and subsequent charges, then I think there is probably enough evidence to say it was something more than JUST self defense. How much more we probably won't know till the trial.

I made my account back in 2008 when I thought Abita was a really good beer. I also happened to be drinking an Abita Amber when I was trying to decide on my username. Truth be told, I'm not really a fan anymore.
