Converting to Rastafarianism. Any Rasta Men here?

I'm thinking about beginning a new spiritual journey in my life with Rastafarianism.
Are there any Rasta Men here? Will being a white guy be an impediment to the completion of my spiritual journey?
I don't know how to smoke pot and hash but I am willing to learn.
