Do those help with shin splints?

Under Armour and they're quite breathable.

This is the only reason I would get them.
What is the purpose? Keep your calves warm so they don't cramp up?

Venous return.....supposedly. I don't think there's any scientific research evidence they improve performance though.

I have CEP sleeves and zoots socks with sleeves. Both are good! CEP has more compression

They're supposed to increase blood flow or some shite like that.
I can fully admit I wear them, because I think they look cool haha.

Compression wear is a borderline scam. There have been scientific studies that show they may aid in recovery but even then we are talking about improving performance in the 1% range.
So unless you are a professional athlete, they just make your legs look toner.

I worked for a medical vascular company for 3 years. I sold medi which is a high end compression product used by docs at the Mayo clinic, MD Anderson, etc. They decided to come out and make a prototype compression product for a company named Zoot. Well after the contract was up, they came out with CEP. It's the same medical grade compression as the medical side. #1 compression product used by the top pros in Kona. 2XU, tommy whatever, etc suck, don't hold a candle to CEP.

CEP is graduated compression. They move blood back up to the heart by making your valves in your veins work more efficient. Also reduce vibrations in your ankles that reduce micro tears to prevent shin splints. Don't buy sleeves, waste on money.
