I worked with a girl that was shaped like Grimace.

She and her husband began to make a huge life change by eating clean and running every day. The local gym had an indoor track where they would do most of their long runs.

She said that several people began to recognize her and encourage her each week. It made her feel very frustrated to stand out so much at the gym.

I never really thought about that. She just wanted to be treated like everyone else at the gym, and not like a special kid learning how to read.

Well, if she didn't recognize that they were proud of her and trying to encourage her to keep working hard.... then that's on her.

Secondly, if she wasn't a grimace before she started going to the gym.... then people wouldn't feel the need to encourage her.

In both instances, it's her own fault. SO, I don't feel sorry for her hurt feelings. She should just go eat another tub of ice cream to make her feel better.

I wouldn't get mad if someone commented on it, but I'm not a huge fan of attention so I don't love the comments either. As I get older though, I'm learning to accept compliments with a "thank you" rather than an "oh stop."

I got in trouble for NOT noticing my wife's weight loss and commenting on it. Apparently she's down like 3-5 lbs and thinks I should have said something.

In this day an age, do you really think you can say that?

You cannot even open the door for someone, much less actually comment on an appearance?

Honestly, what percentage of women have become this fricking looney?

Tiny? Moderate? Large?

All the women I know think that this is fricking crazy and hate this new PC world.

Weight loss is a good thing if you are actually out of shape. Sometimes sparing people feeling hurts them in the long run. Being proud of being overweight is simply unhealthy.

There is a difference in taunting and just being honest.

lol That's a little much. Just be sure to tell her she's looking hot every now and then and you should have it covered. :)

Do you consider 3 vacations a year getting out much?

Other than that, your right, it is 100% making money for the family and spending time with the family.

"Getting out" does not even register an iota of importance.

I thought a SJW such as yourself would approve of this kind of psychotic shite?
