Complimenting women on weight loss is a no-no says social media strategist.

Had to dig thru 10 tons of crazy to retrieve this copy/paste. Do NOT attempt to read entire article. Your head will explode. In summary: DO NOT compliment women when they lose weight.

Luckily, we have social media to remind us that we can be accepted just as we are and that silly before-and-afters will not make you more popular or valuable. Oh wait, just kidding, I got that backwards. Want to have more followers and become an influencer? Lose weight, post bikini pics, and tell others how they can do it, too. Cha-CHING!
The weight loss comments didn’t begin years ago with nice neighbors. (Well, I don’t know, maybe they did. Maybe some neighboring caveman was like, “Oh, hey, I know it’s a famine around here and everyone is dying, but DANG GIRL, you are looking good with those bottom ribs exposed.”)
It won’t end with one woman’s words on your computer. (But, hey, maybe if you share it, then we can all become a bit more aware that we should try to change.)

not mentioning women and weight in the same sentence is something every man should understand.

I always paraphrase Sir Mixalot and tell them to do what they feel good about but just don't lose that sexy figure.
And because skinny girls are gross and have big pussies.

Imagine if men wrote hissy fit articles about everything women say/do that we don't like

No shite.
Saying the right things around women used to be a little tricky. Now it's like walking through a daisy chained minefield.

I don't judge women on their weight because judging by weight is stupid, and stupidity is for women.

my rule of thumb is stay at least 8 feet out of their personal space

considering this is a Huff post, next week they will come out with an article titled
"Men need to lose weight. And women should compliment them about it."

These articles are actually good for the average man.
If the kind of idiot that believes this stops talking to women about their weight it only make this pick up line better. (Only works on women you have seen before).
"Hey, _________, Have you lost weight recently?" then NO MATTER what she says, replay "Well you look, fantastic, how have you been?"

And find another Buffet trough to eat at too when they come in ready to graze.

I'll talk to women in the gym about their weight and it usually ends with them trying to give me their number.

Yeah just don't mention the weight and say "you're looking good these days"

it's a patriarchal pavlovian response control mechanism

Their contributor for this is a "social media strategist".
Clearly, I got into the wrong profession if writing mindless drivel makes you a "strategist".
