It is not a news station for Bruceville-Eddy. It is a Central Texas news station covering the metro area of Waco/Temple/Killeen. The location was chosen by Frank Mayborn from property he already owned when he started the station in the 50's. His widow Sue sold the station in 2009.

i think it's just a half way point between Waco and Temple/Belton. The chick my wife works out with lives in Temple, and Andy Anderson (lolz) the chief meteoroligist lives in Waco.
