or drop in fares is strictly due to smaller demand.

It is relaxing on my balcony. You guys do it wrong. It wouldn't be my first choice, but for a big family it beats the shite out of me having to cook twice a day.

Why trap yourself on a boat then? Why pay to be crowded by a bunch of trash, go to shitty ports and limit your drink options? Why pay for a vacation where the first thing you do or feel you have to do is be deceptive and break the rules?

I went on my first cruise last year and I've never felt less trapped. To look out over the open ocean with the wind in your face is awesome. It was with carnival and i never felt crowded. The ship was so big there's always another place to go. Went to this beach in cozumel, you can get all you can eat and drink all day for $55. they have a 100 person limit so it's never crowded. You get your own umbrella and chair, pool, jacuzzi...it was super awesome.

I've got 2 cruises booked with NCL and the promo when I booked was free booze for the week. That's for me and the wife, with the kids getting a soda package. Unlimited. And the cruise line even pay for the tips.

They are offering it again, but not with tips included or the kids soda package. Nonetheless, it's still a pretty good deal.

It's too bad Carnival hasn't placed a ban on their hooptie ships breaking down and/or crashing into something.

You aren't forced to go on their ship. Live by their rules and prices. It is cheap enough to get on the ship. They make their money by selling alcohol. It isn't that hard to figure out.

I thought they made money from selling you a ticket? Or do they not make money off tickets but off the over charge alcohol? Hell of a business model they got there TigerFrd
