Yes she will. Every bag they have goes on sale for a deep discount. If you are paying full blown retail for that crap you are nuts.

These guys have been right.
Tori birch, Michael kors, and Kate spade are the mid tier options now.

Originally, coach was the Nuevo rich purse option, but now that everyone has one, it is seen as just a middle class person's purse. It has lost most of its status symbol.

If you want legitimate status symbol, it'll cost you $1-2k to buy a brand like LV, Versace, Prada, etc.

Here, if you want status is a Hermes Birkin bag.... At $10,000+ each.

Out where I live the only Coach purses that are acceptable are the solid color leather ones. Same thing for Micheal Kors (although around here Micheal Kors aren't really that popular anymore....they were like 5 yrars ago). The ones with the logos all over it are soooo ghetto.

Kate Spade is more popular now

Goyard is the only option, next to Hermes or another Louis

I'm kinda surprised MK keeps getting recommended. I didn't know they were still that popular.

OP: please don't give her that bag :-/ the thought is sweet, but I promise you she isn't going to want it. I'm not saying you need to go more expensive; just get something else. Non-Coach. Some Kate Spade or Tory Burch shoes, or a smaller black bag.

You bitches are catty. I'm going to exchange it for a solid black streamlined one. If she still doesn't like it, she can deal.

Let me help you out, bro. There is nothing wrong with Coach. Their stuff lasts.

I'm a pretty practical guy, and there are things my wife spends money on that perplex me. But her Coach purses really have held up well for the amount of use they get. Wife before she was wife had a Dooney that was a piece of junk.

Now, if your lady is past the age of 25, you might consider something simpler in appearance like the solid color leather choices. Wifey's getting one for her birthday. The ones with the "c"s all over it are typically carried by younger ladies.

No lady should be complaining about a $300 purse. Best of luck to you, broham.

This. I bought one about 5 years ago when Coach was in style. The market is flooded now.

I definitely agree with the Hermes. I keep hoping I find one in a resale store.

I just called her and showed her. She doesn't hate Coach but she hated what I had picked out.

So we found one with she likes with a wallet and she is very satisfied.

She wanted a simple black leather purse and she loved that I knew what she needed but hated what I picked out. Problem solved.
