Found what I want at Mattress Firm today but the price was pretty high. Is there a cheaper place that would still have good options?

Goodwill or yard sale. Can get em where they're nice and broken in. Makes it more comfy

A bed is one of the most important things you can buy. Get the one you want.

Dude, there's nothing wrong with paying good money on a good mattress. You spend 1/3 of your life asleep. Make that 1/3 count.

Queen? King?

Sealy has an amazing foam mattress that ranges from $1700-$2300 for a king size.

You should be able to negotiate with them. I did.

I posted this in the other mattress thread, but here you go.

Don't talk to a salesman about a mattress, go see someone who knows what they're doing.

Spend money on your mattress. Had a friend who had a limited budget and was going to spend about $1k on one. I told him to go check out a place with two or three years 0% financing. Even if he ended up spending a little bit more he could get a better quality mattress in the end. He ended up going to Rooms to Go and got a great mattress. I really don't know how the price compared but the 0% financing allowed him to have a much better mattress.

Go to Wholesale Mattress and Factor. Place is sketchy, but you will not regret it. They make their own mattresses in the back of their warehouse and do a damn good job for almost nothing.

Go see Billy at Wholesale Mattress, Tell him you want the top of the line. Tell him how you want it.

$1,000 for foam topped or $800 for plain.

Sketchy looking place but a good guy who makes a good mattress.

Bought my last two from him, the first about 20 years ago, about to buy another.
