This is dipping a turd pop in vomit and selling it with ice cold piss level service. These are BY FAR the two worst fast food chains already when it comes to service, hell Popeyes I can't even get a response from corporate for some of the asshattery they put me through. It's just plain not worth going to some of them (airline and transcon). BK is just a dumpster fire at nearly every NOLA location.

How many locations are not dumpster fires?

Their corporate training video probably looks like the PopCopy training video by Dave Chappelle.

Yikes. Now instead of mixing up my spicey with non spicey chicken, I'll be ordering a 3 piece and get a whopper. Not cool.

No fried chicken is far superior to Popeyes (and I love Brothers chicken). If it was, everybody would be eating Brothers Chicken during Mardi Gras instead of Popeyes.

This is literally the worst possible thing thqt could happen to Popeye's short of them closing down.

Yea popeyes is on like a 7 year run of consecutive growth and have been shutting down KFCs and churches left and right. They've made wholesale changes since the new CEO (you won't see it in Nola, shitty corporate run stores)

BK is on the opposite path of Popeyes. Ain't happening imo

The English translation of "Spicey" is "Spicy"

Popeyes has some of the cleanest most up to date restaurants around. The only sketchy ones I've been in are in La.

Being bought by Burger King sounds bad.

Serious question. Are Popeye's red beans and rice legit? I know they are the best thing I've ever tasted, but can you get better in Louisiana from somewhere else?

They are good but you are hard pressed to find a whole bean.

I eat them but there are plenty of very good red beans and rice served around south Louisiana.

I've always wondered how BK stayed in business with how shitty their service is.

As a former vendor, BK has very little corporate direction. It's all short term driven. Don't vet franchisees very well or hire good managers.

that's what makes the so DN good. It's like a red bean lardy soup almost. It is so damn good. I want to meet the person that can recreate that

If you want to recreate it cook a pound of red beans until they fall apart, mash some against the side of the pot to make them creamy and put an 8 pack of Oscar Meyer hot dogs in a food processor , blend until a smooth paste and stir into pot of beans.

There. Popeyes red beans.

Burger King next to a Chick-fil-A by my house finally closed - guess they got tired of Chick-fil-A's double drive through lanes extending into their parking lot. They are literally next to each other. It'd be hilarious if they put in a Popeyes there.
