I'm willing to bet more wars were fought over controlling over territory than religion.
Not saying religion hasn't had a major influence in history, but it's just that and to say lets do away with religion is an asinine remark.

Meh, Nuclear power plants are an over rated target. Usually those things are guarded very heavily and there are many over ride procedures in the event of an emergency. LINK
Yeah a just the security guards card wouldn't get him into the plant. Would need to cut his hand off to hand scan in. Also he would have to do this more than once and walk past numerous guards before ever reaching the control room. Oh and he'd probably pass 20 security guards along the way. And... There are no push for explosion buttons.
For those worried about nuke plants... Don't. It would take a lot, and I mean a lot of effort to gain access to a control room. And even if they did, the outcome would be minimal.

Or..... How would they even know what to do in the cockpit of a plane?
Some of these people study for years for these attacks. Patience is their #1 trait.....well, that and, I guess evil.

A terrorist induced meltdown is not really a threat in a modern nuclear plant, too many automatic safety features.
The real threat is terrorists getting their hands on the radioactive waste from the plant or a medical supply company and making a dirty bomb.

christianity
I think Buddhism is the most peaceful religion. I can't think of a death caused to another human being from buddhism. Hinduism is up there too.

Lots of inconsistencies in this story. First it said he was shot in his bathroom, then it states he was shot while walking his dog.

What if there were multiple radicalized people who had been working at the plant for years and had access?
Most of us don't think like terrorists so it's hard to imagine what they are willing to do. I sure hope someone is worried enough to brainstorm what could be done and come up with countermeasures.

Do you also wonder how many wars religion has prevented?

Sounds like you're the one pissing your pants because some preacher says the Bible says it's ok to kill gays. You worried your dick sucking activities are going to lead to an early grave?

Is there another source for this? The Daily Mail is a British tabloid written by monkeys.

Exactly.
Would not be hard to attach bombs to the water intake lines that cool the reactor. Or blow up the electrical connections that control the pumps that do the same.
