Body cam footage of cop shooting cleaver armed woman released *GRAPHIC*

Vo, who was born in Vietnam and did not speak English, was having an argument with her mother and was shouting in Vietnamese when cops arrived.
Police say she came at the officer with a meat cleaver and refused orders to drop the weapon when he opened fire, Fox 8 News reported.

I often wonder the same thing. For years all we saw were Taser videos, and now they seem to have fallen by the wayside.
That being said, if you have your weapon drawn upon entering a crime scene, and someone is coming toward you with a large knife, I don't expect you to holster your weapon and pull out a Taser. **I haven't watched the video so I'm not sure if that applies in this situation or not.

Clean shot. The officer was responding to a call of a fight. He did not know any prior conditions about the assailant.

If a cop tells you to "stop" and you continue to walk towards them, you may get shot.
If you're holding a weapon when a cop tells you to "stop" and you continue to walk towards them, you will get shot.

Would you approach an unknown situation with your taser drawn instead of your firearm?
You wouldn't want to bring a knife to a gunfight, you wouldn't want to bring a taser to a gunfight either.
