That cop is such a pussy. She was still 10 feet away from him when he shot. Why couldn't the cop back up so he would have more time to convince her to drop the weapon. The cop could have just slapped the knife out of her hands. So much wrong in this video. If a cop feels threatened by this old lady then they shouldn't be a cop. Totally avoidable situation for anyone with an ounce of common sense

There is a guideline taught to police officers.
Its the 21 foot rule.
It means when someone is 21 feet away from you they can get to you before you can draw your weapon and fire.
Could he have done things differently...sure, but the only thing he did wrong was let her get that close.

Why? Cause I think the cop didn't do enough to prevent this situation. The cop should only use his weapon as a last resort. He def didn't do all he could to avoid murdering someone. If you are that trigger happy why not shoot her in the foot?
