Blowing grass clipping into the street and leaving them - Trashy?

Do you just leave the clippings in the street or do you blow them back into your yard?
Is it trashy to leave them?

I take responsibility for my stuff. I edge and mow. Then, I get this thing called a broom and sweep up the sidewalk and the curb and then put the clippings in a big lawn clippings bag. Why should I make my problem the neighborhood's?
