How the frick would you take a picture of something that by definition can't emit light? Edit your post to say "I'm dumb" and contribute nothing else to this thread sir.

They can "see" them by seeing how the light from galaxies and stars around them are bent. It kind of forms an outline.

This isnt real but it gives you an idea of how to do it.

Go frick yourself. You can see the gravitational effects of it, and even calculate its mass. But you can't get a picture of it, it's like saying you're taking a picture of the wind. No you're not, you're photographing shite flying around in the wind.

So again, go frick yourself. I hope you die.

So we all realize its a she and that alone casts doubt.

Does the fact that she is asian lend ang credibility in anyone's eyes though?

The big bang today relies on a number of hypothetical assumptions, things that we have never observed-- inflation, dark matter and dark energy are just a few examples. Without them, there would be a fatal contradiction between the observations made by astronomers and the predictions of the big bang theory.

In no other field of physics would this continual recourse to new hypothetical objects be accepted as a way of bridging the gap between theory and observation.

However virtually all funding today is tied to the framework of supporting the Big Bang theory,
undermining a fundamental element of the scientific method -- the constant testing of theory against observation. Such a restriction makes unbiased discussion and research impossible.

Singularities are always areas where knowing for a "fact" is just not realistic. The existence of a singularity defies what we do know about physics. There is always some small variable that prevents them from existing that was either missed or assumed irrelevant at one point. Singularities occur based in pure theory and it is a theory that is terrible at explaining the universe at this point.

Well, excessively large stars do lose mass at a very high rate via strong stellar winds.

Umm what? Singularities come about when equations break down, not because they can exist. Singularities require the existence of infinity which flies in the face of what is known about quantum mechanics.

Experimental evidence may one day provide physical proof as to whether or not black holes exist in the universe.
But for now, Mersini-Houghton says the mathematics are conclusive.

Translation: Her findings neither prove or disprove the existence of black holes. Mathematical proofs require input/assumptions. Her mathematical conclusion probably can't prove their existence because she is missing something critical in solving the equation.
