Aren't they supposed to be widening Nicholson in the coming years? That's gonna be another clusterfrick

All they really did was move the light from a busy 4 way intersection to a busy 3 way intersection and move the stop sign from the 3 way to the 4 way... I don't understand how this really changes anything for the better.

Turn lanes on Nicholson at Lee/Brightside are absolutely needed but it will be miserable while they do it.

Shouldn't be any surprises here. They let everyone know they were going to do this back whenever they put in that light at the intersection of Parker and Burbank by the Taco Bell. The plan was to put that light in and get rid of the Boyd light. Funny that everyone decides to freak out now

It will NEVER HAPPEN!
It's been planned since the late 80s.
There's also been a left turn lane and turn signal from nicholson to turn onto Lee/Brightside in the works since 1989. Ain't never gonna happen.

Holy crap. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I lived on East Boyd and going from Highland to Burbank was a nightmare at rush hour with a signal. I also spent a night in the hospital due to that intersection.

That the new light at W. Parker and Burbank would eliminate the ned for a light at E. Boyd and Burbank.
Realistically 3 signals in as many blocks is a little overkill.
Would've made more sense to eliminate the light at Jennifer Jean and Burbank though.
