This. I live on Parker, currently. I was starting to regret my decision to move away from the area and then this came out. I was like f@&k that, peace out.

Thankfully, Parker is getting connected to Nicholson, but I doubt they're going to lengthen the light cycle to help get more cars across.

Considering I live on E Boyd this will affect my daily life, not just going to class. It will make every route I take on a regular basis more difficult and create extra traffic on the street I live on. I think my opinion is justified.

Oh and frick those repainted lines on Burbank. My car can't even fit that that turn lane.

Mine either. I hate driving there. Thank freaking goodness I graduated.

I moved to Brightside area, but I work on Siegan, so this shouldn't affect me much.

Going to be interesting to see East Boyd with no light protection to the Highland or Burbank sides and an apartment complex and two Bars in between.

Yup. Certainly will. I'll probably be in that area on Friday to check this crap out.

I like the repainted lines. I agree that it needs to be wider, but those at least helped some. However, doing that and then NOT adding turn signals to the lights made sure that it didn't help enough. Just having f&$king signals would do a world of good so everyone doesn't have to sit there and wait for a couple people to turn left.

This plan is like trying to put out a dumpster fire you started by dropping an atomic bomb on it.

Don't forget a popular, BRAND NEW, drive-thru restaurant (Sonic) located at the intersection in question.

This exactly. That is what they needed to do. They really needed a turn signal.

So will it be right turn only? Or just no left turn? Can go go straight?

It's got to be okay to go straight... No way they can allow that to not be an option.

That sonic is one of the dumbest things ever.

Someone could have made an absolute killing by putting in a restaurant/bar with a open patio.

For sure.

Exactly.

The repainted lines helped because the left-turners can now see (before, they couldn't see if cars were coming if someone was in the incoming turning lane, so they'd trust and gun it and get crashed into).. but we just need fricking ARROWS >[

And yes, Nicholson and Brightside needs turning signals too.

I work on Siegan, and purposely drive down Burbank to Lee (instead of hopping on Nicholson from Blueblonnet or Gardere) so I can go straight over Nicholson to my street. frick a left turn over there.

The real issue is the fact that LSU Avenue does not connect to Burbank, Jennifer Jean does not connect to Highland, and Parker does not connect to Nicholson.
That's BTR's surface road traffic problems in a nutshell. No fricking connectivity whatsoever.

The cop they have working security there will enjoy the show of wrecks to come.

It'll suck when the drivers come get him for help though, because he can't do shite

I haven't been to BR in close to 8 months...since graduating I only go up there in the fall. Did they ever put a new store where the Qdoba was on Burbank? I miss that place .
