Worst: Cruise with my then-girlfriend's family. We were at that phase where I didn't want to be dating her anymore but also didn't feel like dealing with the breakup. So being stuck on a shitty Wal Mart boat with her was just wonderful.

Best: Either the 2 1/2 week honeymoon in Bali or the 2 week trip to northern Italy. Both amazing for completely different reasons. Hard to pick.

Best vacation was to Grand Lake, Colorado in June. Other side of the lake is the Rocky Mountain National Park and the western entrance to RMNP is just 2 miles from you. I’ll go back every summer for the rest of my life if I can. I’ve only been to the mountains to snow ski before this, but summer time in the mountains is amazing.

Worst was probably a beach trip. Not a big fan of the beach and go a few times a year.

Worst: Spring Break in Panama City Break in 2015. Holy frick that place has gone to shite. That was not my first time there, but it will be my last.

First off, the police there were strict. They imposed a drinking ban on the beach while I was there (obviously broke that). I was 21 at the time, but other people got arrested for underage drinking and spend the night in jail instead of a simple MIP. Walked over to where there was a ton of people on the beach. It was fun but absolutely out of control. Fights constantly breaking out. I saw a guy get dropped and went face first into the water, still getting hit. Cops were out fighting with the crowd. The crowd kept running like stampede to try to avoid cops. It was calmer by our resort, but it was too strict there. We got in trouble for having some friends come over and having too many people in the room or balcony or something. I guess I understand because when you went away from the resort and the beach at night, there were people everywhere. They didn't seem like college students either. All down the sidewalks and parking lots.

Then one night we all went to eat out and our one friend stayed behind. When we got back, the room was trashed. Plates and beer bottles smashed everywhere. Garbage all of the place. A hole in the wall. Apparently our friend let people come in like a party or something, but he was the only one there when we got back. It was horrible. We were supposed to leave the next day, but we said frick it, cleaned up as best as we could and left that god forsaken shithole. Also, I heard a girl crying on the phone about getting raped. Real fun place...

Best: Went to London for 2 weeks and spent a weekend in Amsterdam.

The best was a trip to Rome. Hung out in Rome for a few days. Went to Florence and then took a 12 day cruise to spots in Italy like Venice and Sicily. Also went to Montenegro, Greece, Croatia and Slovenia. The worst might be a tie. Went to San Diego a couple of weeks ago and was completely underwhelmed. Dirty, overrun by homeless people, expensive as frick. A trip to Asheville sucked. Too many god damn dirty hippies.

was your experience, you did Disney wrong. Im not saying it should be the greatest trip ever but you obviously didn't do your research. 1) you went at the wrong time of year. 2) you stayed at the wrong resort.

For the price of a week at this Facation seeing the mouse, I could take the family to a week in Tuscany or Provence.

I like Vegas so every time I go there it is probably one of my best.

Worst.. It was the summer either before my freshman or sophomore year of HS. It was me, my mom, three of her sisters, one of the sister's husbands, their kids and one or two other cousins who they decided to take because their parents couldn't go.

It was a camping trip driving to Wyoming. I think it was ten cousins. Me and three others are the same age, one or two of them were 2 or 3 years younger then it ranged out from there.

By the 2nd day we took all of one of our cousin's (one the was 2 or 3 years younger) vacation money playing cards. We played cards the whole time on the road.

He was crying and we were told time give him back his money, but it was split between the four of us (the four in the oldest group). They wanted us to each put up a fourth of what he lost and give it back. We argued that if he would have won they would not make him give back our money, but they said we took advantage of him..

One of our moms came take out money and counted out a fourth from each and gave it back. The 4 of us were pissed.. So being stupid teenagers, we did stupid teenage shite.. including rebelling against the fact they took the money we won, away.

We made all of the parents pissed.. Every day. One of our cousins was 3 or 4 at the time. She had coloring markers. I forgot how it all went down, but we were playing with her and she told us she wanted to be an Indian. Some one of us was like "I will make you an indian, give me one of your markers" and they drew a line under each of her eyes. Then the rest of us joined in and had her face covered.

We were in the back of the van and the parents really couldn't see what we were doing. We stop off at a grocery store.. I think we were in Oklahoma. And my little cousin went to her and was like "momma I am an Indian!".

She couldn't get the marker off of her face and had to bring her in the store like that, get something to try to get it off with and go in the bathroom and try to get off what she could. The parents pretty much decided they were going to make our trip a living hell. And they did and we retaliated.

Word of advice for everyone. Don't ever take a trip that will include a group of teenage boys and the parental authority are 4 moms and a dad (if that dad isn't really an authority figure).

Jesus fricking Christ no one is reading all that.

Just say “best: Vegas, worst: Wyoming”

Seriously, I just got the same point across in four words as you did.

Best - Tenn mountains every time
worst - 2nd trip to Key West for Spring Break. Lost my wallet first night..friends loaned me some money but had to limit my fun significantly. Had no way to prove over age, so stayed very sober most of the time.

I don’t think you understand what the word “worst” means.

If you’ve never had a bad vacation, that’s fantastic. But if you had to rank all of your good vacations, one would have to be at the bottom, even if it wasn’t bad. And that would therefore be your worst vacation.

This is great, I skipped that post and didn't even realize who posted it, I was just like, "frick this wall of text, I'm not reading it", then I read your post and saw who it was to and laughed

Best: Honeymoon 2 weeks in Rome, Florence, and a villa on the outskirts of Florence

Worst: A spontaneous cruise that my wife and I booked (booked the night before we left and we didn't realize it was going to be a floating Wal-Mart).

The worst wasn’t the location, but maybe the sewage system at a particular resort. The damn place just smelled like raw sewage.
Alaska, Canada, Europe, Hawaii, Ireland, islands like Fiji, numerous national parks- too many good ones to call one the best.

Costa Rica in an 8 bedroom villa with family. On site security, bartender, cooks and maids. On a huge hill overlooking the ocean, islands and an infinity pool. A $2100 Jura coffee maker that made the best damn coffee I’ve ever had.

Kuala Lumpur/Brunei/Bali was a close second. Moscow/St. Petersburg third.

No such thing as a bad vacation.
