Anyone rent a sweet rental vehicle? Or get a nice loaner car from a dealer while your vehicle was getting worked on?

Nicest rental car was a Malibu and the nicest loaner was a new enclave Denali

Brand new Avalon Limited. My insurance paid enough for a Camry. The guy took me outside and said I could pick one of the 10 Camrys they had lined up. Avalon was in the middle, so I went for that and got it. No idea how it worked, but it did. That thing was spacious and comfortable as hell

I went from a tiny S40 to a Tiburan to the Avalon

Hertz was out of the car type that I reserved, and were going to put me in a mini-van. I told them that wasn't exceptable and they put me in a Volkswagen CC 4 Motion. Surprisingly good car.

Fully loaded 2014 ford explorer. It had 857 miles on it.

Had it for three weeks not on my dime.

Had a black 2015 Taurus Limited as a rental replacement from my insurance for about two weeks. I LOVED that thing. So nice. So quiet. So comfortable. Had all the toys.

Same thing here. I didn't realize the seat vibrated when you drifted into the lane next to you. Let's just say I road the shoulder for two days.

I got upgraded for free to a new style Camaro in San Francisco. It was when they were first released so the majority of people had never seen one before. I had it for a few days and just rode around the awesome streets there. Everyone was giving me thumbs ups and checking it out.

A close second was a Mistang convertible in Denver (again a free upgrade).

We rented a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee in June for a drive from Chicago to Urbana-Champaign. It was an amazing car. We were the first people to rent it. I don't think I'll ever have that experience again.

I can't really say what the best was since I'm in the car business, but the worst vehicle was a 2014 Chevy Siverado. After owning a Ram being put in a cheaply made and engineered GM product, I returned that POS the next day for a Chrysler 300

Escalade and a loaded sequoia are probably the best.

Legit lol'd at this.

Not me, but recently had to trade cars with my dad for a couple weeks because my (old and very much non-OT Baller) Infiniti had to get work done on it at the dealer right as I was leaving for school. They gave my dad a 2015 Q50 for the day which made me pretty jealous but probably for the best given that I would have likely just driven it like a dumbass and screwed it up somehow.

Think it was a Ford Explorer of some high end type, had things in it I had to figure out through the trip. Very nice, I thought they had speed overrides on most rentals? We were keeping up with traffic in Tejas going near 90.
