I'm not a heavy app user so it is fine for me. I read that the S4 is slightly faster navigating apps but not really noticeable to most users.

Camera is good. My only complaint is the autofocus sometimes fricks up and focuses on something small that is closer than what I want it to focus on.

Battery is good for me, but I stay busy at work during the day so the phone mostly just naps. I took it off the charger at 7am this morning and just looked at it and it is at 65% right now. With my usage, I put it on the charger at night before bed and that is it.

Not really sure what the big deal with Siri is. I never used it much.

Thats what everyone says until they spend a few days with me and see how I use it to manage my life and work. I use Siri for EVERYTHING!

Lulz, Google Voice is better and more advanced than Siri.

I doubt it since Siri does everything I can possibly think of but even if it was it wouldn't give me my alerts on my ipad and mac.

Thanks for the info. I watched the CNET vid on the camera and the stuff seemed pretty cool, just was wondering about the picture quality.

Are you suggesting that a Mac and an ipad are incapable of syncing with a gmail calendar?

ETA- because that is very, very bad information.

I've had this discussion with him before. Lack of storage doesn't matter because you can do everything from the cloud/ Siri, despite being inferior to Google Voice and, in my experience even Robin, makes up for how SHITTY other phones are.

His screen is THE BEST SCREEN despite having inferior specs to at least 3 other phones on the market.

Anything else that the iPhone is inferior at (which is a lot) is 'stuff that doesn't matter and no one cares about'

Typical iPhone user. I do find his comment funny, being that I have never claimed to make 100k at 19 to a bunch of strangers. He obviously needs acceptance here, me, I am just stating facts.

Facts don't get you far on teh inturwebz. Emotion rules reason and blurs the lines of truth. Particularly on the vast majority of message boards.

But, since this is the OT, I will make a confession. I am almost $150,000 in debt and don't have a real job.

LSUHSC-NO is bottom 5 in terms of cost. Most future doctors are way more in debt at my stage of training.

I just swapped from the iPhone to the Note 3.
Got the watch too and I'm extremely satisfied with this phone! I contemplated the switch for months then pulled the trigger.

The only reason I know about them is because I was on a business trip to London sitting in business class, and the guy next to me was talking on it and I asked him what brand it was. He went on and on about all the cool stuff they come with despite not being as cool as an iPhone.

It was amazing and depressing at the same time. They are crazy expensive.

Battery life is sick huh? It's the first smart phone I have that I can go to work without bringing a charger.

Google drive is a great way to get a lot of extra storage out of a phone. I think it's something like 30gb.

But my two choices are the note 3 ($299 with upgrade) or nexus 5. With you being a non-android user, you won't need the pure android to see how great it is.

And to whoever is saying they aren't switching because or Siri, . Google Now is everything that siri is and more
