Removable batteries, sd cards

Both of these have tremendous upsides. I enjoy having an extra battery in my pocket and never having to worry about my phone dying or where I can charge up. I watch my wife with her iphone 5 charge every 5-6 hours and I can go nealry 8-10 on my note 2 with each battery.

So yes, its a big deal and not one that people are just hanging onto

Not out of contract yet, though. My screen got effed up on my old phone and it would cost at least $150 to fix it.

You can't change it yourself or is that how much a screen cost for it on eBay?

You can change it yourself but I've done some research and everyone says it's a real pain in the arse. Looks a lot tougher than changing the iPhone glass, for example.

My phone is unlimited. I have one 64 gig for my camera. A 64 gig full of movies and a 64 gig for my music. All so small, I might even lose it. Beat that.

Then if my wife wants to listen to my music, pull it out, slide it into the adapter and into the USB port in her car. Of course we could connect through blue tooth, but why burn the battery

I switched from the iPhone 4s to the HTC one and haven't looked back since. Buy the Mophie battery pack for extra charge and you won't need to charge it for atleast a day and a half.
It's a little bit of a learning curve being so used to the ios format, but it blows ios out of the water
Oh, and if you're on verizon they were offering it for $50 if you're eligible for a 2 year upgrade

What do you like about the HTC One? Give me any info you can, please. How's the camera, video, transition between apps, etc.?

Thanks

I've played with the 5s. It's a fine phone but it's nothing really new or different. I want new experiences man.

Then order some girls from backpage or get the Tinder App from the App Store!

ETA: Seriously Siri is what will make me never leave iPhones.

I have an HTC One. Did a lot of research and comparisons between it and the S4.

Chose the HTC One because it is more user friendly and looks a lot better (not plastic). S4 is better for people that love to customize and spend time tweaking and figuring out the phone IMO. And care less about how it looks (when compared to the HTC One).

BTW, HTC One is large, but fits in the front pocket of my slacks at work or back pocket of my jeans otherwise. Note was too big for that.

Not really sure what the big deal with Siri is. I never used it much.

How fast is the One when navigating between apps? How's the camera? Battery life? etc.

Lulz, Google Voice is better and more advanced than Siri.

The camera is crystal clear (not sure about the specs) and you can do an awful lot with it which I really haven't had the chance to play around with yet. They have videos on YouTube and cnet though that can give you a better understanding.
As far as the transition between apps, I haven't had any issues with lag (which is one of the main reasons I was fed up with my iPhone).
Like I said in my op, it's been a bit of a learning curve and didn't like having to learn the android operating system at first, but after about 2 weeks I got the hang of everything to where it's become second nature
