Would go to the Cotton Club every once in a while to get away from the rowdy drunks across the street.

Northgate Tavern or Chimes (not varsity).

Cowboys or shanahans/shenanigans if I was in lafayette.

The one time I left northgate and went into whatever the bar down the street was... Some teacup sized bouncer said he was going to throw me out for lighting a cigarette with an entire pack of matches.

I miss Catarie fridays. I used to make sure not to schedule MWF classes after noon so i could go get half price apps and cheap pitchers of beer.

It was dollar long necks for a loooong time. Then it was $1.25, then $1.50...and I don't remember if I was still going as much after that. Half price apps on Fridays was LEGIT though!

Northgate and State St were good times. Also smashing a Roul's burger after Les Miles playing until the last minute against a cupcake team

If you were generally not an arse in Northgate, you could get away with murder if the occasion called for it.

Some random guy hit my buddy in the back of the head with a redstripe bottle. Buddy spins and hits this grown man in the face with a brick.

We never figured out why he hit him with the bottle, and my buddy was never able to explain where the hell this brick came from

The Bengal used to have drinkin on Lincoln. $5 to get in and all drinks were free. They did this well into the 90s. I have no idea how that worked financially.

This is all high school and into college when I went home. At LSU I went to the usual tigerland and bogies. Lakeside was a common one for me that is a little off the beaten path I guess.

Would also hit Crescent in Hammond when I visited friends there.

Penny pitchers of beer, hurricanes, and well drinks in Lafayette were common mid 2000s.

I grew up in Houma. Went to The Brick House, Yesterdays, and Visions a good bit. Also spent a lot of nights in Thibodaux at Rox’s and Renee’s.

We've probably crossed paths at some point.
