Austin cop involved in violent arrest of black female teacher. Update - $425K Settlement

Update - the city council just settled for $425K.

Very similar to what happened with Sandra Bland. She gives the cop some lip and he just goes off on her.

Oh, and later in the video, on her way to the station, she is talking to a cop who tells her that black people have "violent tendencies." I just...I mean...even if you do believe that is true, why would you tell the person you just arrested, who is of that race, and on video??? Now people will think that Austin cops are all racist.

Throwing her out of the car was out of line, but was she really trying to play off the situation at the beginning like she was going to get a frosty and didn't get pulled over?

She didn't follow instructions.
She acted like a bitch.
Then she resisted.
When people are resisting it is simply not possible to not be violent. You can't bring them under control and arrest them without being violent, and he was not excessive IMO.
